EVENT DETAILS

Join us for a special visit of the Ghibli Museum on April 29th, including a viewing of the short film Mon Mon the Water Spider which features music with the Hardanger fiddle (Norway's national instrument).

Tickets to the Ghibli Museum has been graciously been donated to the NJS by Rio Yamase, who was the music director (composer and performer) of Mon Mon the Water Spider.

Yamase has received the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Norway and the title of Knight for her efforts and contributions to spreading knowledge of Norwegian folk music and culture in Japan and promoting cultural relations between the two countries.

This special visit will be available free of charge to 10 participants on a first come, first served basis.

Both NJS members and non-members are welcome.

NJS will arrange tickets for you, and you will gather on the day of the event to enter the venue together.

NJS personnel will lead the visit on the day of the event.

ハルダンゲルフィドル（ノルウェーの民族楽器）による音楽が流れる短編映画『水グモのモモン』の鑑賞を含む、4月29日のジブリ美術館特別ツアーにご参加ください!

NJSでチケットの手配をいたしますんで、当日集合し、皆さまでご入場いただきます。

当日はNJSの者が引率いたします。

【イベント内容】

水グモのモンの音楽監督（作曲・演奏）を務めた山瀬理桜氏より、ジブリ美術館の入場券がNJSに寄贈されました。

山瀬氏は、日本におけるノルウェー民俗音楽・文化の普及と両国の文化交流の促進に尽力し、その功績により、ノルウェー王国より功労勲章とナイトの称号を授与されています。
