The general meeting on April 20 will feature a lecture by theater researcher and translator Ms. Anne Lande Peters. While Nordic occupies the top ranking in the working environment for women, Japan has been in the second worst position for seven consecutive years.
Let's ask Anne-san about women's social advancement in both Japan and Norway.
We look forward to seeing you at the General Meeting.
On November 7th, The Norway-Japan Society held an art appreciation event at the Idemitsu Museum of Arts.
We viewed many of the works while listening to the curator's commentary.
And we deepened our understanding of the backgrounds behind the works and the appeal of the East and the West.
Thank you to all 21 volunteers who spent their Sunday picking up plastic debris and other waste along the beach surrounding Enoshima. It was a lot of fun meeting up with people in person, it was social, it was nice to talk, and we felt we spent our time together outdoors at the lovely Enoshima doing something important for the environment and we hope to do it again, with even a larger group in the future!
